Letter to Corhanwarrabul (2023)

Drawing from the artist’s family photo albums of visits to Mount Dandenong, Letter to Corhanwarrabul considers flows and cycles of time, migration, displacement, becoming, and entanglements with past and future bodies.

This work was created on and in dialogue with Wurundjeri woi-wurrung country. As a migrant settler and uninvited guest, Eugenia pays deep respect to the traditional custodians of this land, and their long, ongoing practice of culture, storytelling, science and care for Country.
