Crossroads/Titik Temu (10.03.2020)

(Exhibition, News, Video Art)

10 March – 4 April 2020
Bus Projects, Collingwood Yards

Two-person show curated by Bianca Winataputri

Crossroads/Titik Temu is a series of collaborative projects that brings together contemporary visual artists from Indonesia and Australia in an ongoing dialogue and an opportunity for cross-cultural interaction that forefronts artists’ experimentation and collaboration.

For the first of the series, the project brings together the new media works and performative practices of Indonesian artist Yaya Sung and Australian artist Eugenia Lim. Through their multidisciplinary practice and research with local communities, this collaboration examines issues of identity and identity making in an increasingly ‘globalised’ world.

Eugenia is exhibiting video work Australian Landscapes (2009) and elements of her 2018 body of work The Australian Ugliness.
