(Festival, News, Video Art)

Artist Talk
Saturday, 29 October 2016, 2 – 3pm
Theatrette, Immigration Museum,
400 Flinders Street, Melbourne 3000

This Saturday, as part of the Immigration Museum’s ‘Diverse Practice’ series, Eugenia presents a talk on her recent projects and their diverse reference points: from mythic earthworks and artists of the ’70s to the territorial claims and artificial islands in the South China Seas and Dubai, and the influence of cinema and personal identity. Through varied mediums and methods, Lim’s work aims to interrogate the power dynamics and identity politics at play in representing a site, a self, a culture or a state.
