A Cultural Exchange

A Cultural Exchange is inspired by the phenomenon of travel and “exchange”, from overseas opportunities through to formative home-stays in foreign lands. A Cultural Exchange involved myself and another woman of my age swapping lives for one day. Both 27 years old, Katia is a married beauty-therapist based who answered an ad posted in her gym and agreed to participate in the project; I work as a public servant part-time in the city and live with my boyfriend. Each woman exchanged a typical working day in her lives, from waking through to sleep.
